Monthly Love Astro Horoscope

April 2026

Aries

It was in the closing hours of March that Venus, the planet of love left Aries, ending her annual mission to update your romantic and relationship desires, hopes and aspirations for the coming year. Still in the early part of your birthday month, Venus' early return to Aries this year has given your heart a head start and an early say in what you want from the coming year. Because the Moon had moved through your romantic sector during Venus' final days, this was the last impression. It is a day after Venus left that the Moon will not only return to your relationship sector on 1st April, but to begin the lead up to a Full Moon on 2nd April. This is a Full Moon that at some point during your birthday month each year and halfway between the Sun's last visit to your relationship sector and the next, will put a balance between your own and your relationship needs to the test. With no planets in your relationship sector until the second half of the year, this is a chance to give your relationships a voice. By returning after Venus left and therefore avoiding a clash, this avoided raining on her parade, while returning soon enough to help with the defining of your relationship desires and expectations. Returning so early in the month, the Moon will come full circle and return to your relationship sector for a second time, from 28th April to 30th April. The Sun will be gone by then and while there will still be six planets in Aries for the Moon to clash with, without the same intensity and what is the normal monthly reminder when it comes to a balance between work and play that will continue all year. By then, Venus will be in your communication sector and on a mission to give your heart and your relationships a voice. Meanwhile, the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 24th April to 26th April could be some of the most romantically charged days of the month.

Taurus

While the Moon will leave your romantic sector on 1st April, as this is Venus, the planet of love's first full day in Taurus, this is going to get the month off to a romantically charged start. Venus will make it easier to hold onto the influence of these romantically charged lunar vibes and especially as having come full circle from last month's eclipsing Full Moon and with the South Node here until July, even without her that was going to be the case. Three weeks before your birthday month and new solar year is due to begin, Venus has returned to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year and the first seven days could be pivotal. Having returned while the Moon was in your romantic sector, got this off to a romantically charged start while giving you the confidence to raise the bar on your expectations. Meanwhile, it is just a few days later that the Moon will return to your relationship sector, something that from 4th April to 6th April will be a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. This time, this will see the Moon clash with Venus and with Uranus and the dwarf planet Ceres, who are also in Taurus. Since Uranus returned in 2019 to guide you towards your personal truth, this has been a monthly clash that has been key to maintaining the right balance between your own and your relationship needs. This is the Moon's only visit to your relationship sector while Venus is in Taurus and their only clash. As well as helping you better understand what you want from your relationships and what they need from you, a friendly aspect to Jupiter in your communication sector as the Moon moves through and to Mercury, the planet of communication, will make this an opportunity to get the communication lines open. As these are the Moon's only visits to your romantic and relationship sectors while Venus is in Taurus, her first week is the most pivotal. Venus will leave on 24th April, just before the Moon comes full circle and returns to your romantic sector and from where it began the month, from 26th April to 28th April.

Gemini

The Moon will make two visits to your romantic sector this month, each time more significant than they normally would be. The Moon will return for the first of its two visits to your romantic sector for the month on 1st April. This is when the lead up to the Full Moon on 2nd April, the most romantically charged of the year, will begin. By 4th April the Moon will be gone, but as well as getting the month off to a romantically charged start, as a Full Moon these romantically charged lunar vibes will be a lot more potent. Thanks to Venus, the planet of love, there is also likely to be a strong sense of romantic nostalgia in the air. When the Moon returns to your romantic sector on 1st April Venus, the planet of love will be in her first full day in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, with a 24 day nostalgic trip down love's memory lane that will end with her return to Gemini on 24th April, just getting started. This will see the most potent romantically charged lunar vibes of the year kick in, just as Venus is holding the doors open to the past. The Moon will always return to your romantic sector every four weeks and having returned so early in the month, there will be time for it to come full circle. The Moon will return for its second visit to your romantic sector for the month on 28th April, where it will end the month. This time, it will be to find Venus in Gemini and looking to the future. As the Moon's only visit while the planet of love is in Gemini this year, this will get her annual mission to update your romantic and relationship desires and expectations for the coming year off to a romantically charged start. With no planets in either your romantic or relationship sectors, the Moon's monthly visits have become a lot more important, with its return to your relationship sector from 6th April to 8th April a chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware.

Cancer

By the time you move into the new month it has only been three days since the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment, not only left your relationship sector, but ended all planetary activity on the relationship front until she retrogrades back in for a double dip visit in August. This is something that should have happened two months earlier, when the Sun left your relationship sector and within a five day period Mercury, Venus and Mars as well. In any other year, this would have ended all planetary activity on the relationship front until the Sun comes full circle in December. Instead, Juno's return at the end of last year was just the start of her first visit in four years. Here for three months, you have had time to work with Juno on your relationship resolutions for the coming year. At the same time, knowing that within five months a retrograde phase will bring her back for another two and a half months, makes this something that can evolve over the coming months. At the same time, this has taken the pressure off Jupiter in Cancer, reducing the personal and/or relationship tension that may have come and gone during the first three months of the year. Meanwhile, with no more planetary activity here or in your romantic sector, the Moon's monthly visits have become a lot more important. It is the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 4th April to 6th April that will not only make these the most romantically charged days of the month, but right over Easter. It is a few days later that the Moon will return for its first visit to your relationship sector since Juno left, with 9th April to 11th April an important chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. In the meantime, it is on 24th April that Venus, the planet of love will return to a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart, to take your heart on a nostalgic trip down love's memory lane that will end with her early return to Cancer next month.

Leo

As you move into the new month the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships is still settling into her early days in your relationship sector. It was three days earlier that Juno returned for her first visit to your relationship sector in four years and her first encounter with Pluto, the planet of change and transformation there in our lifetime. With Juno here for the next five months and Pluto until 2044, they will work as a team to update your relationship resolutions and help turn them into reality. This will also increase the focus on your relationships, just as it was dialling back. It was early last month that just a few weeks after the Moon left your relationship sector Mars, the last of the faster planets to move through also left. Mars didn't visit your relationship sector last year and by the end of February 2025, Pluto was on his own and apart from the Moon's monthly visits, it stayed that way for the rest of the year. That won't be the case this year, with Juno not only here until retrograding back out in August but returning again in October to spend the rest of the year here. Pluto is on two decade long journey towards relationship evolution and growth, with Juno adding a new sense of resolve. The Moon will make its first visit since Juno's return from 11th April to 13th April, bringing a chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. Meanwhile, with no planets in your romantic sector until later in the year, the Moon's monthly visits have become especially important. It is the Moon's return to your romantic sector from 6th April to 8th April that will make these some of the most romantically charged days of the month, with a little help from the Sun and the four planets in an adventurous part of your chart. As Venus, the planet of love only left there in the closing hours of March, this will help to keep her mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together alive.

Virgo

By the time you move into the new month it has only been three days since the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment left your romantic sector. Having spent the last three months giving you the resolve to follow your heart, keep the spirit of romance alive and having kept your romantic sector active for two months longer than it otherwise would, this leaves matters of the heart in a good place. While there will be no more planets in your romantic sector until the second half of the year, you not only have Juno's resolve and the Moon's monthly visit to keep the spirit of romance alive, but in the final hours of March Venus, the planet of love returned to an adventurous part of your chart. Venus returned two days after Juno left, in time to capture her resolve and the spirit of romance as she returned to begin her annual mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure alive. With Venus not leaving until 24th April, she will when the Moon returns to your romantic sector from 9th April to 11th April, making these some of the most romantically charged days of the month. Meanwhile, you are also nearing a unique point in the year on the relationship front with Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos leaving your relationship sector on 10th April and Mercury, the planet of communication, on 15th April. While that is not unusual and for Mercury, who returned in early February for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to get the communication lines open, this is long overdue. However, with Neptune, who had been here for 13 years having left in January and after nearly three years Saturn a few weeks later, there are no more planets here. For the first time in decades, when Mercury leaves on 15th April, this will end all planetary activity on the relationship front for the year. This makes the Moon's return from 13th April to 15th April all the more important, with a chance to ensure you are emotionally and intuitively engaged and aware during Mercury's final hours. However, though not planets or even physical objects, the lunar nodes will continue to keep an eye on a balance between your own and your relationship needs until they shift in July.

Libra

With the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in your relationship sector, it is a given that the focus will always be on your relationships at this time of year. However, what you don't expect at this time of year is a powering up on the romantic front, with the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment having just returned to your romantic sector in late March. By the time you move into the new month, Juno has only been here for three days and you will still be getting a feel for a new resolve to follow your heart and commitment to keeping the spirit of romance alive. It was early last month that Mars, the last of the faster planets left. With the Sun having left in February and Mercury and Venus having moved through by then, this is when the reins were passed to Pluto, the planet of change and transformation, who here until 2044, is playing a long game. That changed with Juno's return and here for the next five months, this is good news for matters of the heart. You will get an early read on Juno's influence when the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 11th April to 13th April, creating what can be some of the most romantically charged days of any month. This will get an even bigger boost when Venus, the planet of love returns to an adventurous part of your chart on 24th April and into a friendly aspect to Juno. This will get Venus' annual mission to bring the spirit of romance and adventure together off to an empowered start. Meanwhile, while the Moon won't return to your relationship sector until 16th April to 18th April, with a New Moon on 17th April offering a chance for new beginnings, a Full Moon at the start of the month will have an impact. When the Moon returns to Libra on 1st April, this begins the lead up to a clash with the Sun and a Full Moon a day later. This is a Full Moon that will always fall at some point during the Sun's month long visit, putting a balance between your own and your relationship needs to the test. By the time Mars returns to your relationship sector on 10th April and Mercury, the planet of communication on 15th April, you will have a better sense of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you.

Scorpio

At the same time that one chapter is coming to an end, another is not so much starting up but catching its second wind. Though in both cases, this is the beginning of the end of an era, with one ending slightly before the other. Drawing to a close is not just Mercury and Mars' final weeks in your romantic sector, but because after 13 years Neptune left in January and after three years a few weeks later Saturn left as well, this will end all planetary activity on the romantic front for the year. There are no more slow outer planets that can keep the wheels turning and there won't be until Jupiter returns for 12 months in April 2033. Knowing that when he leaves on 10th April he won't be back for another two years, Mars will be working to fire your romantic passions and fighting spirit while until he leaves on 15th April, Mercury will be working to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page. It is during Mercury's final days that the Moon will move through from 13th April to 15th April, making the final days of all planetary activity on the romantic front for the year, some of the most romantically charged of the month. Meanwhile, while the same is going to happen on the relationship front, not for a few months yet. Uranus, the planet that since 2019 has been keeping your relationships on an authentic path while guiding you towards more authentic relationships and away from those that aren't, will leave your relationship sector on 26th April, not to return for another eight decades. However, as was the case when Neptune and Saturn left your romantic sector earlier in the year, the impact won't be felt straight away. That is because with Venus, the planet of love in your relationship sector until 24th April, the Sun returning on 20th April, the dwarf planet Ceres here until May, Mercury having moved through and Mars here by then, there won't be a sudden drop off. That won't happen until Mars leaves at the end of June. Meanwhile, the Moon's return from 18th April to 20th April will be in time to capture Venus and Uranus' final days.

Sagittarius

This is the month when the real nature of 2026 is going to reveal itself and especially on the relationship front and the game changing developments later in the month. Until then, the focus as it always is at this time of year, is on matters of the heart. With the Sun always spending the first three weeks of April in your romantic sector, the solar spotlight is not only always on matters of the heart at this time of year, but this is when the faster planets will move through. This began with Venus, the planet of love's return earlier last month and while she has left, not until the final hours of March, with her influence still felt as you move into the new month. While the dwarf planet Eris, the warrior planet of the cosmos has been in your romantic sector for over nine decades and Chiron, the planet of healing since 2019, it was Neptune's return in January to spend the next 13 years and Saturn a few days later to spend the next two years here, that has taken you into a new romantic era. The Sun will leave on 20th April, but not before Mars returns for his first visit in two years on 10th April and Mercury to begin his annual mission to give your heart a voice and to put heart and mind on the same page on 15th April. Both will be here when the Moon not only moves through from 16th April to 18th April, but as a New Moon. Mercury and Mars will both spend the rest of the month, with Mars getting his first chance in two years to fire up your romantic passions and fighting spirit. With no planets in your relationship sector, the Moon's return from 20th April to 22nd April was always going to be a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware. However, it is just a few days later that everything will change with Venus, the planet of love returning to your relationship sector on 24th April and two days later, Uranus returning to spend the next seven years here. With continuous planetary activity already locked into place on the romantic front, by the end of the month it will be locked into place on the relationship front as well. Helping prepare for that was the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment and especially commitment to your relationships' return to your communication sector at the end of March.

Capricorn

While on both the romantic and relationship fronts, there has been ongoing planetary activity all year and long before that, it is this month that both are set to come into their own and open up. It was in June 2025 that Jupiter returned to your relationship sector to begin your most important year in over a decade for relationship growth and your relationships in general, though with things in a bit of a slump over recent months. This was partly because it wasn't until last month that Jupiter turned direct, ending five months in retrograde motion where the focus was on the past, while having to come to a standstill for several weeks to make that turn. This is also because starting with Mars' return to Capricorn in early December, a parade of planets have moved through and as they did, they have all clashed with Jupiter, putting a balance between your own and your relationship needs under pressure. The last to clash was the asteroid Juno, who only just left Capricorn at the end of last month. With Jupiter back in direct motion, the pressure gone and support from Mars, until he leaves your communication sector on 10th April and Mercury, the planet of communication until he leaves on 15th April, there will be a lot more confidence and a lot less pressure this month. However, leaving at the end of June, this allows you to move into Jupiter's final three months more aware of what you want from your relationships and what they need from you. Meanwhile, as you move into the new month Venus, the planet of love is settling into her first full day in your romantic sector and not leaving until 24th April, she is getting the month off to a romantically charged start. Venus is also here to help you get the most out of Uranus' final weeks. After seven years, the planet who has been acting as your heart's GPS will leave on 26th April, with Venus here for all but his final 48 hours. However, with the Sun returning on 20th April, Mercury and Mars returning next month and the dwarf planet Ceres still here, they will keep the spirit of romance alive until 30th June. Mars, the last planet to return and the last to leave your romantic sector this year will leave on 30th June, the same day Jupiter will leave your relationship sector.

Aquarius

As you move into the new month, as has been the case every month so far this year and has been for months prior to that, there are no planets in either your romantic or relationship sectors, but that is getting ready to change. While on the relationship front, you will have to wait a little longer, when the Moon moves through your relationship sector late last month this would have left you with a sense of change ahead. This was an ordinary monthly visit, but the first since Jupiter turned and instead of moving away from, is back on track and once again moving towards your relationship sector and return on 30th June. Until then, the Moon's monthly visits will remain a valuable chance to check in and become more emotionally engaged and aware, which will be the case when it moves through your relationship sector from 24th April to 26th April, which coincidentally will be just as there will be some game changing developments on the romantic front. Until then, it is business as usual on the romantic front, with no planetary activity here since after four months testing the waters, Uranus retrograded back out in early November, with the promise that he will return. By the time the Moon moves through your romantic sector from 20th April to 22nd April, something that should make these some of the most romantically charged days of the month, a sense of anticipation will be palpable. It is just two days later that on 24th April Venus, the planet of love, will make an early return to your romantic sector, kicking off what can be the most romantically charged weeks of any year. The game changer comes two days later, when on 26th April and after promising that he will return, Uranus will not only return to your romantic sector but to spend the next seven years here. Until leaving in 2033, Uranus will act as your heart's GPS while as the planet of surprise, synchronicity and the unexpected, bringing the laws of synchronicity into play. As Venus works through the laws of attraction, they will both be in effect by the end of the month.

Pisces

On both the romantic and relationship fronts it might be business as usual, but on both fronts in a better and shinier way. The core ingredients that have been there all along are still there, but with much better conditions. This is especially so on the romantic front, when after five months in retrograde motion Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion is not only back in direct motion again, but it was just in the final days of March that the last roadblocks and barriers, whether real or imagined were removed. Having had to come to a standstill, Jupiter is no longer at a standstill and leaving on 30th June, is ready to make these final three months count. Having returned in June 2025 to begin your luckiest year for love, matters of the heart and all things romantic in over a decade, as Jupiter moves into the home straight he is ready to put everything into making these final months count. Helping with that is having Mars, the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos in Pisces until 10th April and Mercury, the planet of communication until 15th April. Both will remain close to Jupiter until then, with the Moon's return from 22nd April to 24th April some of the most romantically charged days of the month. Meanwhile, while there are no planets in your relationship sector, the South Node is there and together with its partner the North Node in Pisces, they are maintaining a balance between your own and your relationship needs. It is when the Moon returned to your relationship sector late last month that it clashed with Mercury and Mars and leaving on 1st April, this is a chance to start the month emotionally engaged and aware. This wasn't just the last clash before Mercury and Mars left, but with Neptune and Saturn having left Pisces earlier in the year, this ended the last of what has been a monthly clash between your own and your relationship needs every four weeks for decades. While this is a chance to get the most out of Mercury's final weeks in Pisces, he is able to work with the planets in your communication sector that are actively working to keep the communication lines open. By the time the Moon returns to your relationship sector again from 26th April to 28th April, there will be no planets in Pisces for it to clash with.
