Monthly Career Astro Horoscope

April 2026

Aries

While things have dialled back professionally, not before an active first three months of the year has allowed you to shift your focus this month onto the money. While there are no planets in your work sector, the South Node has not only been acting as a guide since its return in January 2025 but has had a lot of support from the planets moving through your career sector and those in your income sector. At the same time, it was having the South Node here that turned last month's Full Moon in your work sector into a total lunar eclipse, something that it came full circle from last month. The Moon is still here as you move into the new month and while leaving on 1st April, with a chance to start the month with your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground, along with a read on what last month's eclipsing Full Moon unleashed. This will see the Moon leave during Venus, the planet of money's first full day in your income sector and just as she has joined the planets already there to kick off the most lucrative months of 2026. It is just over a week later, from 9th April to 11th April, the Moon will return for its first visit to your career sector since the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment not only left at the end of last month but ended all planetary activity on the career front until later in the year. As well as a chance to check in, sharpen your professional instincts and capture some of Juno's resolve and the momentum gained in the first three months of the year, the Moon will form a friendly aspect to the South Node and all three planets in your income sector as it moves through. These could be some of the best days of the month across the income, work and career fronts. Meanwhile, the Moon will come full circle from where it began the month, returning to your work sector from 26th April to 28th April. Venus will be gone from your income sector by then, but the Sun will be there in her place.

Taurus

While from the start there will be change in the air, within the first 48 hours of the month, your professional year will be catching its second wind. It was late last month and less than four weeks after Mars left your career sector, ending what had been an active start to the year on the career front that the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment returned to your career sector. By the time you move into the new month, Juno has only been here for three days, so this is something you are still adjusting to. However, with so many planets having recently moved through and Pluto, the planet of change and transformation now in the second year of his 20 year visit, this is in addition to what is already banked. With Pluto not leaving until 2044, he is playing a very long and slow game and last year, by the end of February he was on his own and apart from the Moon's monthly visits, it stayed that way for the rest of the year. This year, with Juno here now until retrograding back out in August, but then once in direct motion returning in October to spend the rest of the year here, that won't be the case. However, Juno is still playing a long game and is focused more on firming up your professional resolutions. This is in contrast to what is happening on the job front, with the Moon's return to your work sector from 1st April to 3rd April creating a Full Moon that on 2nd April is going to jumpstart work and job matters. With the Moon in and out in just a few days, there will be no mucking around or long game, but with the focus on getting things moving and making them happen now. At the same time, this will set things in motion that could take until the Moon returns on 28th April to fully play out. Meanwhile, the Moon will return for its first visit to your career sector since Juno's return from 11th April to 13th April.

Gemini

At the same time that there will be a very different feel in the first half of the month compared to the second half, this is also a significant turning point in this professional year itself. It was back in January that, after 13 years Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams left your career sector and a few weeks later, having spent three years giving you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes, Saturn also left. This ended decades of near continuous planetary activity in your career sector, something that was masked by the fact that by the time Saturn left, Venus and Mercury had returned. This created an overlap between the end of a decades long era and the start of the most active months of any year on the career front. Instead of a drop off or an ending, there was a continuation. At the same time, while the Sun and Venus have moved through, Mercury who would normally move through in 14 to 15 days should be long gone and the end of all planetary activity on the career front for the year should have happened last month. Instead, a retrograde turn has not only kept Mercury here, but Mars has returned for his first visit in two years. Until leaving on 10th April, Mars will continue to fuel your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit, until leaving on 15th April, Mercury is giving you everything needed to keep your head in the game and to think on your feet. It is while both are still here that the Moon will make its monthly visit to your work sector from 4th April to 6th April, making these especially good days on the job and career fronts. Mars will be gone by the time the Moon returns to your career sector from 13th April to 15th April, with a chance to ensure your professional instincts are sharp during Mercury's final days and when his departure on 15th April finally ends all planetary activity on the career front until next year. However, not before an enormous effort to get this professional year up to speed and on the right track.

Cancer

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your career sector, the solar spotlight is always on your career and professional situation, matters and options at this time of year. However, this is also putting the solar spotlight on the planets that have returned to take you into a whole new era. As was the case when Venus returned early last month, when the Sun returned on the March equinox, he moved almost straight into an alignment with Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams, who returned in January to spend the next 13 years in your career sector. A few days later, an alignment with Saturn brought you face to face with the planet who, for the next two years will give you the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes. Mars will do the same when he returns on 10th March for his first chance in two years to fire up your professional passions, fighting and competitive spirit and Mercury, when he returns on 15th April with a smart and practical edge that can help you get your head in the game and think on your feet. Both will be here when the Moon not only returns to your career sector from 16th April to 18th April in time to ensure your professional instincts are sharp during the Sun's final days, but as a New Moon. With the Sun leaving on 20th April, but Mercury and Mars and the retrograde of the planets staying on, this will both act as a trigger and create a tailwind that can move things forward. Meanwhile, with no planets in your work sector, the Moon's return from 6th April to 8th April will be both a chance to check in and a trigger for work and job matters. A friendly aspect to the Sun and the planets in your career sector as it moves through, will make these especially good days on the job and career fronts. The Moon will do the same when it moves through your income sector from 24th April to 26th April, though with the Sun gone and Mercury and Mars in your career sector instead.

Leo

While the Sun won't return to your career sector until 20th April, the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your career and professional situation, matters and options, a lot of water will have passed under the bridge by then. By then, you will also be just days away from the end of an era, with after seven years Uranus, who has been a constant guide leaving on 24th April, not to return for another eight decades. However, support to bring things home began last month, when the dwarf planet Ceres returned for her first deep dive into your professional needs and priorities in four years. Ceres' focus is less on the when, where and how and more on understanding your needs and priorities in order for the other planets to better channel their focus. This is especially so when it comes to career satisfaction and a sense of purpose, something that Venus can use as a sense of direction when on 1st April, she is settling into her first full day in your career sector. Until leaving on 24th April, four days after the Sun's return and two days before Uranus leaves, as the planet of money, desire and attraction, Venus will be working to attract both professional potential and the money. While this will see Venus and Uranus leave within the space of 48 hours, not only are the Sun and Ceres staying on, but Mercury and Mars won't return until next month, while Mars won't bring continuous planetary activity on the career front to an end until leaving on 30th June. The Moon's return to your career sector from 18th April to 20th April will ensure your professional instincts are sharp during Venus and Uranus' final days and in the lead up to the Sun's return. Meanwhile, it is earlier in the month that the Moon's return to your work sector from 9th April to 11th April will be a chance to check in on work and job matters. As the first visit since Juno, the queen of commitment left late last month, this will also be a chance to capture some of her resolve.

Virgo

This is a month that is set to surprise you, to a small degree at the start of the month, but in a much larger and game changing way later in the month. When Mars left your work sector last month, this not only brought a busy six weeks to an end, but as the last of the faster planets to move through this year, when he left, he handed the reins to Pluto, the planet of change and transformation, who here until 2044 is playing a long game. Last year, apart from the Moon's monthly visits, this left Pluto on his own for the rest of the year, a quiet but ever present force that kept things on track but stayed in the background. That won't be the case this year, for it was late last month that the asteroid Juno, the queen of commitment returned to spend the next five months updating your resolutions and giving you the resolve to keep on top of work and job matters. The Moon will make its first visit since Juno's return from 11th April to 13th April, something that every four weeks brings a chance to check in, sharpen your instincts and act as a trigger. An alignment with Juno and Mercury as it moves through will give you a read on their influence. Before then, the Moon's return to your income sector from 1st April to 3rd April as a Full Moon could act as a trigger on the income and job fronts. While the Moon will form a friendly aspect to Juno and Pluto when it returns to your career sector from 20th April to 22nd April, it is the timing that makes this especially significant. The Moon will move through in time to ensure your professional instincts are sharp, you have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground when on 24th April, Venus returns to begin the most active months of the year on the career front and two days later, Uranus returns on 26th April to spend the next seven years here.

Libra

The dynamics of this professional year are changing and on the job and career fronts that is especially so this month, with work and job matters that have been carrying things so far running their course, just as on the career front, things are ready to take off. When, after 13 years, Neptune left your work sector in January and a few weeks later after three years Saturn left as well, this ended decades of near continuous planetary activity on the job front. However, with Venus and Mercury here by the time Saturn left, the start of the most active months of the year on the job front overlapped the end of an era. This obscured or delayed the fact that there would no longer be continuous planetary activity on the job front. Since then, Venus has left, the Sun has moved through and Mars has returned while Mercury, who returned for what is normally a 14 to 15 day chance to work smarter, get your head in the game, think on your feet and the communication lines open, is still here. This is due to a retrograde phase that kept Mercury here long enough for Mars to return and together gain as much traction on the job front as possible. Until he leaves on 10th April, Mars will continue to fire up your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit, but will be gone by the time the Moon returns from 13th April to 15th April. With Mercury not only leaving on 15th April but finally ending all planetary activity on the job front for the year, this will ensure that in his final days, you have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground. Meanwhile, while the push to get work and job matters up to speed and on the right track is coming to an end, in his first full month back in direct motion and due to leave your career sector at the end of June, Jupiter's quest for professional growth and expansion is back on track. You will get a better read on this while having a chance to sharpen your professional instincts and act as a trigger when the Moon moves through your career sector from 22nd April to 24th April.

Scorpio

Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your work sector, the solar spotlight is always on your work situation, job matters and options at this time of year, though rarely with the kind of resource that you have this year or with so much importance. As was the case when Venus, who left your work sector on 31st March returned earlier last month, when the Sun returned on the March equinox, it was to find Neptune, the planet of hopes and dreams and Saturn, the planet with the resolve to do whatever it takes for as long as it takes here. While Neptune returned in January to spend the next 13 years here and Saturn a few weeks later to spend the next two years here, it wasn't until the Sun and Venus returned that the most active months of the year on the job front kicked off. Until then, Neptune and Saturn have had a chance to settle in and for their influence to take hold. Meanwhile, when Mars returns on 10th April to begin his first chance in two years to fire up your work passions, fighting and competitive spirit, he will spend his early days aligned with Neptune and Saturn, as will Mercury when he returns with a chance to work smarter, get your head in the game, think on your feet and the communication lines open, on 15th April. Both will be here when the Moon not only moves through your work sector from 16th April to 18th April, but as a New Moon. This will give work and job matters the green light while with the Sun leaving on 20th April, go into his final days with your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground. It is after the Sun is gone that the Moon will return for its monthly visit to your career sector from 24th April to 26th April. As well as a chance to sharpen your professional instincts, the Moon's friendly aspect to all six planets in your work sector as it passes through will make these especially good days on the job and career fronts.

Sagittarius

From the moment you move into the new month, you are going to notice a shift on the job front and this is something that you might even sense has happened overnight. It was in the closing hours of March that Venus returned to your work sector and on 1st April, she is settling into the first full day of what will be a short 24 day mission to attract both job potential and the money. With the Sun not returning until 20th April, the point in each year when the solar spotlight will always shift onto your work situation, job matters and options, Venus' early return was always going to be an advantage. However, it is more significant than that. With after seven years Uranus, the planet who since 2019 has been guiding work and job matters, leaving on 26th April, Venus has returned to both support him during these final weeks and exploit his influence while he is still here. Also helping to bring things home is the dwarf planet Ceres, who returned to begin her first deep dive into your needs and priorities on the job front in four years. With Ceres not leaving until later next month and Mercury and Mars here by then, this will see work and job matters continue to evolve over the next three months. Meanwhile, the Moon is set to have an important impact on both job and career fronts, starting with its departure from your career sector on 1st April. As well as a chance to ensure your professional instincts are sharp from the start, having come full circle from last month's eclipsing Full Moon, this could see a lot of things fall into place. When the Moon comes full circle from 26th April to 28th April, it will once again sharpen your professional instincts and form a friendly aspect to the planets in your work sector, though with Venus and Uranus gone by then and the Sun there in their place. Meanwhile, the Moon's return to your work sector from 18th April to 20th April will be in time to ensure you have your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground during Venus and Uranus' final days.

Capricorn

As you move into the new month it is business as usual, with no planetary activity in either of your two professional houses and just the Moon's monthly visits bringing a chance to check in on job and career matters. However, on both the job and career fronts there are exciting developments that by the end of the month will have seen the whole dynamics of the year itself shift. Helping to get the month off to an empowered start will be the Moon's return to your career sector on 1st April, with a chance to move into the new month with your professional instincts sharp, finger on the pulse and ear to the ground. However, by 2nd April this will have become a Full Moon and something that halfway between the Sun's last visit six months ago and the next and at what is the least active point in any year on the job front, can help to jumpstart things on the job front. By 4th April, the Moon will be gone and things will be back to normal, but it might not be until the Moon comes full circle on 28th April that what was triggered then comes home to roost. Meanwhile, by the time the Moon returns to end the month in your career sector, everything will have changed. It was four days earlier that on 24th April, almost a month before the Sun is due to return, Venus will return to your work sector to begin the most active months of the year on the job front. While only here for 24 days, Venus will have begun her mission to attract both job potential and the money by the time Uranus not only returns on 26th April, but to spend the next seven years here. When the Moon returns to your career sector on 28th April, it will form a friendly aspect to both, giving you an early read on the new doors opening on the job front. Meanwhile, the Moon's return to your work sector from 20th April to 22nd April will be a chance to go into this with your finger on the pulse and ear to the ground from the start.

Aquarius

A couple of factors have not only cleared the way to make this a good month on the job front, but the start of a three month period that things will continue to build and gain momentum, while spilling into the second half of the year. The first was Jupiter, the planet of luck and expansion's direct turn in your work sector last month. After five months in retrograde motion, this took the brakes off work and job matters, but with the asteroid Juno still in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart and still policing how well you know when to keep your work hat on and when to take it off. Juno's departure late last month, coupled with the support of Mercury and Mars in your income sector has seen the brakes come off, the barriers removed and Jupiter's quest for job growth and expansion and back on track. Jupiter is nowhere near back up to full speed, but not leaving until the end of June, over the course of the month his speed will slowly increase and with nothing to slow things down or block things, with steady progress likely to be made. In addition, there are two points in the month when the Moon could help to turbocharge things. The first will be when the Moon moves through your career sector from 4th April to 6th April. As well as a chance to sharpen your professional instincts and act as a trigger, the Moon will not only form a friendly aspect to Jupiter as it moves through, but to Mercury and Mars as well. These will be positive days across the income, work and career fronts, with all receiving a bump. The second point in the month will be when the Moon returns to your work sector from 22nd April to 24th April. This second visit since Jupiter turned direct and the last before he is joined by Venus next month, will add to the progress that is already likely to have been made by then.

Pisces

While there are no planets in either of your two professional houses and won't be until Venus and Jupiter's game changing return to your work sector in June, the Moon is doing a good job at keeping things on track, while allowing you to focus more this month on the money. Because the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of April in your income sector, the solar spotlight is always on your income situation, matters and options at this time of year. However, while the Sun will leave on 20th April, you also begin the month with four planets in your income sector and will end the month with six planets there. When the Moon returns to your two professional houses this month, it will form a friendly aspect to those planets, not only making these high points in the month professionally, but with lucrative implications. The first will be the Moon's return to your career sector from 6th April to 8th April, something that every four weeks can sharpen your professional instincts, help you get your professional bearings and even act as a trigger. It is during this visit that the Moon will form a friendly aspect to the Sun and the four planets that will be in your income sector at the time. It is just over two weeks later that the Moon will return for its monthly visit to your work sector from 24th April to 26th April. This is something that every four weeks is going to give you a better read on work and job matters and can act as a trigger, while with Jupiter back in direct motion, with a chance to start lining up for his return in June to begin your biggest year for job growth and expansion in over a decade. By this point, the Sun will have left your income sector, but Mercury and Mars will have returned, making these especially good days on the income and job fronts.
